How does the point system work in TOMi.digital?
Currently, it works as follows:
The system awards 1,000 points for each correct answer.
Additionally, it gives up to 200 bonus points for faster responses.
The maximum score a student can earn per question is 1,200 points.
Below is the formula used to calculate points:
- Correct answer = 1,000 points
- Time bonus = 200 × (1 - response time / question time / 2) points
Total score = Correct answer + Time bonus
Cases where questions don’t award points
Only Open-ended questions do not award time bonus points, and they are not graded as correct or incorrect.
Additionally, points are not calculated when a class is scheduled for asynchronous presentation and Competition Mode is disabled.
In this case, once the class ends, a list of students with the most correct answers is displayed.
