The 8th generation of the award-winning TOMi smart device has arrived, maintaining its beautiful design, integration of all the tools needed to innovate in the classroom, and the ability to emulate Internet browsing when network connectivity is poor or unavailable.

Some of its new features include

TOMi8 runs on Android. The device's main application has been redesigned to run as a single-window application, taking advantage of the motherboard's capabilities and optimizing all built-in resources.

It integrates a new generation of digital whiteboard with infrared technology that can turn any screen or projection into an interactive surface, is automatically calibrated and it is possible to activate up to 10 touch points simultaneously to allow multi-user interaction on the whiteboard.

TOMi8 has two external slots for connecting extensions with optional antennas for up to 100 meters of coverage and integrates the Kolibri library for downloading and sharing content via the TOMi8 hotspot.

Incorporates an internal microphone to measure noise in the classroom and uses a colored light notification to alert teachers when noise is harmful to health.

Scoring System

Teachers can use the test scoring templates to score students in real time, question by question, even if they do not have a personal smart device connected to the TOMi8.

Students show the TOMi8 camera a sheet of paper printed with their personal QR code and rotate it according to their multiple choice answer selection.
